I can conclude from the chart and graph that the Industrial Revolution did have an effect on the moth population.

Evidence:
In the first through third years, the white moths had a 2 to 1 advantage to the black moths. In year four pollution started and the whites started to decrease while the blacks grew bigger and bigger in population. By the eighth year, the black moths outnumbered the whites 7 to 1

The pollution from the factories caused the rooftops to turn black and the white lichen on the trees to die, revealing the dark colored bark of the tree. These variables caused the white moths to be more visible to there predators while proving the be a very satisfying asset to the black moths.
